Job Description
The Indus Hospital (TIH) is actively looking for a committed Blood Transfusion Officer to enhance our dynamic team. In this crucial position, you will perform medical screenings for blood donors and oversee blood collection procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and compliance regulations throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical screenings and assess eligibility for blood donations.
- Supervise blood collection activities while ensuring safety standards and compliance.
- Address donor inquiries and manage any adverse reactions effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate donor records.
Qualifications:
- MBBS degree with current PMDC/PMC registration.
- 1-2 years of experience in blood transfusion or a related field is preferred.
This is a full-time role based in Karachi, with a requirement for 75% travel.
