Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist to ensure project compliance with environmental and social policies, lead safeguards assessments, and monitor implementation of mitigation measures. The specialist will prepare safeguards documentation, coordinate stakeholder consultations, and report compliance to project teams and financiers.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Social Development, or a related field; minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of safeguard frameworks, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
