Job Description
The NJV School Management Board is seeking a dedicated Library Manager to oversee and enhance our school library. This role is crucial for providing students with access to a diverse range of books and educational resources, while also nurturing a passion for reading among the student body.
Key responsibilities include managing library collections, conducting orientation sessions for new students and staff, curating suitable reading materials, promoting reading programs, and maintaining an organized library environment. Additionally, the Library Manager will monitor borrowing activities, teach research skills, and collaborate with teachers to support classroom needs.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or a related field, with 1–2 years of relevant experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a strong commitment to literacy promotion.
