Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Chartering Manager (Consultant) to lead chartering and shipping operations. This full-time, project-based consultant role is hybrid (in-person as required) and typically runs Monday–Saturday with flexible 9–10 hour days. Compensation: Rs400,00–Rs500,00 per month.
- Responsibilities: develop business cases, secure charter customers, negotiate and finalize charters and freight terms, manage scheduling, documentation, and risk mitigation, and provide market analysis and advisory.
- Requirements: 6–8 years of local and international chartering/shipping line experience, proven negotiation and brokerage results, a strong shipowner/broker network, analytical and strategic decision-making skills, and a Bachelor’s degree.
